Style Diary – Printed Shirt Dress

Hope your week is going well. Does anybody else have the “how is it only Tuesday?” feeling? I shouldn’t but do. I had the day off from work which was so nice because I’m never off during the week so it was a welcomed treat. I headed into town with one of the girls and we got some lunch in McCambridges.

DHB Fashion Show & Outfit Details

As most of you probably know, I work in a local boutique, Design House Barna. In June, the store celebrated its tenth birthday so last week we held an in store fashion show and party to mark the occasion.

Shoesday Tuesday – August 11th ’15

Hi everyone,

I don’t know if it’s just me but I’m having one of those weeks where even though it’s only Tuesday, it feels like Thursday and everything is just sort of dragging on. I think the weather is definitely a contributing factor (if you’re reading this from outside Ireland then just consider yourself lucky because we are experiencing a seriously grey Summer!). I know we’re not prone to heat here on the Emerald Isle, but this Summer we just haven’t been able to catch a break! So, you ask, what do I do to cheer myself up on days just like this? The answer – therapy…. retail therapy. And no shopping, try as I might, pleases me quite so much as shoe shopping. With that in mind I decided to round up a few of my favourite pairs that I am currently lusting after!

Shop The Look For Less – Self Portrait Dresses

Hi guys,

I thought it was time to do another “Shop The Look For Less” post seeing as my last one went down quite well. This time around I chose  the iconic Self Portrait dresses. Even though they only launched their first collection in Fall 2013, they have already  become a recognisable brand. Intricate, floral lace and embroidery, mesh and leather inserts, cut-out panels, peter-pan collars and dainty, tea-length, full skirts, come to mind when I think of Han Chong’s beautiful creations.

I told you in my last blog post that last week I was on my holidays from work. I spent most of it in Donegal but I came home on Thursday and went to Cork on Friday to see my all time fav, Chic. Far too many hours spent in one weekend on a bus but it was definitely worth it. Worth it, because Nile Rodgers is king! 

Style Diary – Printed Culottes

Hey guys! I’m finally getting the chance to introduce to you, what may be my favourite pants ever. I got these amazing culottes in work a couple of months ago at the start of the season but I was keeping them in the wardrobe for a family occasion. After eventually wearing them to that, I was so delighted to be able to wear them more casually.
